We are all familiar with laser surgery and its uses in human medicine. Our pets
can benefit from that same technology. Laser surgery utilizes an invisible beam
of energy which vaporizes moisture in soft tissue. The laser beam seals nerve
endings and blood vessels as it cuts, allowing for less pain and bleeding.

Some surgeries would be difficult or impossible to do without laser. For
example, many bulldogs and pugs have an excessively long soft palate which
causes snoring and difficulty breathing. Decreased stamina and even a
shortened life span are common consequences. Laser surgery allows for
correction of this abnormality with minimal swelling and blood loss as
compared with traditional surgery.

Conan and his owner are happy with his
improved breathing after laser surgery.
