Originally from Great Falls, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C., Dr. Cuppernull earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2021.
She loved Blacksburg so much that she stayed to complete her veterinary degree at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2025. During her final year of vet school, she received the AAHA Award for Proficiency in Primary Care.
Dr. Cuppernull is excited to build relationships with clients and become a part of the Clayton community. Her professional interests include preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys training for her next half marathon, reading, cooking, tubing down the river with her fiancé Steven, or spending time with their two dogs, Mac and Gus.
